The-Dream Announced As Vice President Of A&R At Def Jam Records
Singer/Songwriter and Producer “The Dream” announces he is the new Vice President of A&R at Def Jams.
The “Umbrella” songwriter talks about his new role at Dej Jam saying:
“Music means more than just a download, it’s life to the culture and also the people who listen. This is a new exciting yet critical time for music — ‘You Meet Change with Change!”
But what does this new role at the label entail for The Dream?
Well the label released a statement of what his creative juices will offer: “In his new role he will be overseeing the progress of current and new artist projects, signing new talent to the label and working in a production capacity with artists on the Def Jam roster.”
Similar to what Singer/Songwriter NeYo was offered and accepted at Motown Records as their Senior Vice President of A&R.
