Did you know Lisa Raye tried to Rap? Benzino feat. Lisa Raye – “Would You”
The Vh1 network has reintroduced us to some of our favorite 90′s to Early 2000′s stars like “Lisa Raye” starring in “Single Ladies” and rapper “Benzino” appearing on the hit reality TV show “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.”
Starlets, as you get to know me more you will realize I am a BOOK of music knowledge. Not only do I know every song probably made by man kind, but I also know every socialite or actress that tried to once dip into music.
So let me school you on some of my knowledge! Many of you may not remember or know that actress Lisa Raye once tried to rap! She is the older half sister of rapper “Da Brat.”
The Players Club actress Lisa Raye linked up with Benzino in 2003 on his sophomore album and recorded the track “Would You” also featuring Mario Winans.

Yesssss… Lisa Raye spit a couple of bars, but that was the beginning and the end of her music career.
