Chris Brown Fortune Album Sales Failure

It appears as though Chris Brown’s latest effort “Fortune” won’t be bringing him much of it.
The new album “Fortune” appears to be bringing in first week sales of only 135,000 copies. F.A.M.E his previous album, racked in 235,000 copies in its first week of sales.
Having listened to Fortune in its entirety I can honestly say it is one of his best pieces of work thus far, yet first week sales do not match up with that belief.
So exactly what does this mean?
If causing ruckus in a nightclub throwing bottles can’t sell an album then what can? I’ve been with Team Breezy from the beginning watching Chris grow as an artist and blossom in every way possible. Even through the altercation with Rihanna, horrible interviews, and nightclub mishaps he managed to bounce back and release a successful album.
One would think after releasing such hits such as “Strip” and “Sweet Love”, this album would soar across the charts. Here’s hoping success will come later down the line for this album.
Is Mr. Brown’s career coming to a halt? Or is this simply bad promo? Share your thoughts below.
